What coolant

Anybody know what coolant type a Mk2 V6 takes? Type C or Type D?

What exactly is coolant please? Is it water and antifreeze?

i think all the newer renaults take that

and the older engine take Type C

type d. thats all you can get now anyway,type c was discontinued because it used to rot the inners of the cooling system like core plugs etc.

Lol good job you cant get it then. I had some type D in the garage that I got for my old 172 just thought I better check before putting it in the V.

we stopped stocking type c ages ago and my parts manager said it wasnt avaliable anymore. he might be wrong though it wouldnt be the first time.
