What could cause this...? Help required please

Hi guys, following on from a previous thread, my 182 has a very very rough idle, got the fault code P0300 Random/Multiple cylinder misfire..

I cleared the code but its still really rough on idle and at slow speeds in traffic etc.

The engine light is pretty much constantly flashing me now whilst sitting in traffic or at slow speeds....

Paul at RS Tuning couldnt find anything on his RS Tuner, and the MPG is fine (42 on the m-way) which leads me to think the o2 sensors arent nackerd..

Any ideas guys? I'm this close to taking the car to Renault for them to find the fault :(

Thanks

Matt

dodgy coil pack maybe??

would of said a faulty injector but that fault code is running on more than one cylinder so could be coil pack playing up

how old are the spark plugs? cheack the cheapest things to replace before things like coil packs ect, you could have old or dodgey spark plugs that aren't igniting the fuel at idle,

I'm almost sure that the result of one coil 'packing' up , results in the EMU, trying to compensate
by adjusting the other three. Certainly changing the complete set, would not be too big a job.
The coils are more likely to be the centre, than plugs just six months old. I do find though, that
it is easy to overfill the level during an oil change. Check that too. My engine is the 1.6 VVT.
