ok was out washing the car, afterwards took it for a spin and this light came on

After that it went into get-you-home mode.. whereby it would only rev to 3000rpm... tried turning the engine off and back on again but it was the same so drove home switched it off and back on again and it cleared and drives fine now.. what did i do (just so I dont do it again) if its the TPS then where is it actually located so I dont soak it again, stupid pressure washers lol

Sounds like youve soaked the lambeda sensor possibly spraying water up the exhaust.

If you want just unplug the sensor and tape the connection us and you wont have the problem (its the issue decat owners have often).

U could leave the car running while you jet wash it, even leave it running with someone inside it even better..
