What do people think to this V

Always loved the V from when they first came out - what do people think?! what do look out for?

Looks lke the second picture, the front wheel is sat far back in the arch and there is a huge gap like wheel liner is missing.

Also the last pic looks like the leather is marked on the seats, could be the picture though.

Cambelt might need doing, also maybe worth getting the clutch done aswell if theres any play in it, save on 6+ hours labour if it does go. Says its got a LSD in the advert, don't think so. HPI, look for obvious accident damage, take the engine tray out from the bonnet and check for any visable damage etc.

Stone chips common so a front respray not uncommon, just make sure its a good job. Check the engine cover screws are all there as they are expensive to replace.

Nah the words 'body kit' do it for me.

Tbh though they should label it us as a 'laguna engined, body kitted clio' people would flock to see it then

Does it matter that it is a ph1 but has a ph2 tailgate?

Or were all the v6 like that?

2002 cars onwards came like it, although i've seen some with mk2 boots but the bit round the diamond has been plain black (like on the clio vans)

as said big gap in the front left arch and wheel, doubt it has an LSD! the exhaust seems to stick out further than usual as well. maybe worth a look but HPI check FTW!

I took a quick gander at this (i'm quite close ) and if the front is supposed to have arch liners in front of the wheels, then they're both missing. Can see straight through to the fog lights. Exhaust looks a bit worse for ware.

Didn't see any other obvious problems, but i'm not sure what to look out for.
