What do you guys think about my proposal for engine life!!!

hi there guys sorry for the long title got a little lost ...probably pissed dont know f**k it its xmas lol !!!!

anyway my car is over 5 years old now on a 51 plate so warranty etc is all out the window he he the car came with a full service history when i picked it up in january (well it had stamps etc ) so basically i am at a stage now in ownership that my car is getting mot'd every year in january...if i simply carried out an oil and filter change (good s**t of course) twice a year this would be ok as i will probably own the car now until i die he he...just think it pointless paying for a service and mot at same time when the safety checks are covered in the mot as long as i keep up to date with very thing that needs to changed every couple of years like cambelt every 5 coolant every 4 etc etc cheers guys

sounds ok, but always always check your brakes (visual inspection with the wheels off)

Yep not a bad idea I'd check all the bits of a big service when you chnage the oil etc just to be safe if you do any decinet amount of miles.

cheers mate i have done around 10k this year but will be fare less next year for sure i want the engine in tip top form and 2 changes a year should keep it going nicely!!!

Keep doing the oil changes twice a year, as your MOTs in jan, get one of the 'free' health checks in june - a check every 6 month. Least its on the ramp/quickly identify any problems et
