Before i used to wash the car and dry it down etc all correctly then I would just use collinite 476 or megs NXT straight on and thatd be it.

Now what i do is wash then dry then apply AG SRP then i apply dodo juice purple haze on. Now i understand that doing this every couple week (which is how often i clean the car) isnt really beneficial is it? What im doing is not allowing the car to build up layers of the dodo wax/sealant because the SRP removes it. What should i do? Washing the car then drying and going straight to the wax stage with the dodo wont really give me the best look i can get will it?

If your using SRP and dodo, then the first initial application/applications of the SRP should be before the wax only and top the wax up when needed/prefered. Putting a polish on top of a wax will just affect the wax and it wont perform. You can get better results but there will be more stages that will be needed to do so.

thats what i do...i apply the srp then the dodo juice! Im saying that i cant apply srp every week or two...so what do i do? just was and dry and go straight to dodo juice application?

Yes mate, just top the wax up.

If you was to put a layer of dodo on and wait for 3-4 weeks thinking it has worn off the finish, you will then end up putting SRP on and messing it up again. If you want to use SRP all the time then the only option would be to strip the whole lot youve put on your car and start again

Ok well i throughly SRP'd the car the other day then dodo'd so ill keep dodo - ing after washing...until maybe a couple of months and then ill SRP again? Awesome. I suppose the "juiced" car will look awesome anyway!

As above, by SRPing each time you are removing the protection. The DJ wax should last a good month or two. A top up every 1-2 months will do no harm, or you could use a decent QD like Zaino Z8 or a Carnauba Glos like Werkstat to top up the protection and increase the longevity of the wax.

To be honest mate, as youve used SRP as a foundation layer, you wont need to use it again until you decide to start the whole car from square one which will involve APC'ing the car. Using both products vice versa will be cancelling each other out so to speak so your wasting the JUICE. As JD said, keep topping your wax up mate and buy a detailing spray that will hold the finish miles better and add more gloss if used every week after washing. Few good ones are Zaino Z8, Aquartz Reload, Werkstat and CG Pro

Quick question on the back of this thread with regards to removing wax.

By claying will this remove any wax, glaze, fillers right down to the clear coat ? Or is there another step to remove these ?

Not really, depends on what finish you have on the car. C1, Aquartz and a few super sealants wouldnt even get penetrated with a clay bar. Compounding would be in order for some, apc for others
