What gets off rubber from paintwork...

  Clio 182
Right,

Yesterday, I was hit by a lorry in the 182 :( Luckily the only damage was the alloy being scuffed to fook, and loads of rubber where his tyre rubbed against my arch. It's set solid now and I'm not sure on the best way to get this off?

wow, damage doesnt look all that bad mate! could of been a lot worse

i would try something like Autosmart Tardis

  Audi TT 225
isopropyl alchohol, clay + lube, failing that tardis as the man said. just treat it like it's tar and you will find lots of things that should work. assuming you have none of the above WD40 will also loosen it, make sure you clean it after

I have some AG intensive tar remover laying about somewhere. I think I will give that a try. Looking at it today, some of the black parts is actually where it has taken off the paint and gone back to plastic :(

From the picture it does look like the central area where is solid black is the bumper as you can see the rips in the paint.

Ha Ha, no it didn't luckily! Just gone out and had a go, majority of is where the paint has come away :( What a ballache. Yeah the alloy got scuffed and chipped as well :(

Try AG tar remover, Its not as strong as Tardis though, Probably wont work as well.

250ml bottle of Tardis off ebay should shift it i would think.
