why are my file logos the msn logo!? they should be like the last two (music note) any ideas?

I'm guessing you sent them to him via MSN? If so I've still got no idea why it's changed the icon.

yeah i did, hasnt stopped me opening the files or nefing, just wonderd why it sundenly chaged lol

Try:

click on a file with the msn logo.

Right click > open with > Itunes (or whatever you normally use to play music)

Oh, and make sure at the bottom of the file choosing screen you tick always use this program.

'Change Icon' in properties to whatever pic you want, might do it to all.

Haveyou tried restarting? Sometimes its such a random error that it'll be fine after a restart.

Vista with some weird, old looking skin.

As said above, if its bothers you that much right click > open with > then whatever you choose, in your case Windows media? And make sure you tick the box that says always use this as my default programme.
