Cut the centre silencer out, sounds really good IMO.

Thanks. Would that have to be done at a garage or can it be a donit at home jobby?
I'd assume it needs a straight bit of pipe welding in where the centre silencer was, so how's your welding? 
I've become desensitised to it now.

Bit of tape would do it . Anyone had theres tuned? Didn't think it was worth £300 for a maximum +12hp

You'll be spending a lot of money for little gain.
Turbo is the most obvious route if you're serious.
Do you mean remapped? There's no way you'll get 12bhp from a remap.
The RSTuner improves driveability greatly, however you'll never see any real peak power gains from it.
The clio engines are fairly highly tuned in the first place, and getting more power generally costs a fair bit of money if you want to stay normally aspirated. The only way to get fairly cheap power is turbocharging but with the 200 gearbox being quite weak I wouldn't be too keen on it.
