You have to respect all high power RWD cars in the wet, the MR2 got a bad name from the REV1 cars after that the suspension was updated and the wheels upgraded to 15".
I had driven my MR2 through 2 winters and never had a problem you have to drive to the conditions.
Any fool can take a 220BHP RWD car and stick it in a hedge by driving out of their capabilties.
Going from RWD to FWD was a shock to me because I had forgoten what torque steer was like!!
Go for a spin in an MR2 Turbo, very fast but treat them with respect, however I will take my Cup thanks!
The R1 wasnt trying. They would blow u away in a straight line over 130. Even a 996 GT2s are left behind by R1s on the straights. What boost is your Supra running? Power figures?
I was waiting for that comment from someone. Trust me, he was going for it as much as I was. Being a biker myself I know the body language of someone who is trying.! He gave me a toot and thumbs up when I pulled off at my junction too, it was a brilliant race, lasted about 20 miles in total, slowing through traffic and some roadworks then flooring it.
Ben H, I see what you mean now about people not believing you if it doesnt sound quite right!.
Im running 1 bar at the moment. No power figures as Ive not run it on a dyno yet.

Sorry, thats not true. I think youll find a big power car would quite easily out do a bike at high speeds. I have a link to a road legal Supra in the US that can out run a hyabussa from a 70mph rolling start... awesome car....
I do, but not scanned in. I keep meaning to get some nice shots of it. It looks pretty much the same (its black anyway!) as the one on the link I just posted, but mine has nicer side skirts and doesnt have those indicators on the side of the bumper (just infront of the wheel). And my wheels are also different.
Sorry Rob, I was more referring to the guy with the tuned Supra who claimed to have left behond an R1 over 130. Was agreeing with u on the B roads and twisties side of things of bike vs car

Well, @ 160 he was quite a way back. I really cant be bothered to argue, so Ill let you think what you like. Maybe he wasnt trying, maybe he was. Youll never know.
