What/How to clean Throttle Body ?

I was gonna have a go at cleaning my throttle body tomorrow


Has anyone ideas what i can use to make it a bit easier ?

Or the best way to clean it ?

And what to use ?

Will any carb cleaner in an aerosol can do the trick ?

Or have i to watch for damaging any rubber seals inside :S

I used the STP carb cleaner stuff in an aerosol. Mine's still sticky I reckon and you can see the wear round the butterfly (at least I think it is wear and not in the design). I also used carb cleaner on the idel control valve - it got lots of black stuff out but again I don't know if it did anything.

Carb cleaner etc or any cleaner of a similar type
