Im doing a network config.
My hardware im using is a SCE/Ethernet (Network Adaptor) which is already built into my slimline i think ?
It says do i need id and password to access my provider (PPPoE) ?
Does this mean do i need to put a pass word and ID to get online everytime ?
The options are yes or no
Now i want to manualy put my IP address in but with this i need the...
Netmask address and default router address and obv the IP address how do i get these ?
Finally i need the dns server address which ive got.
Maybe i might have made a bit of sense now lol
Also i have a cable modem so i dont know what to do about the default router address.
Theres an option for the Ip auto or manual i went for manual becuase the autoif i remember does something i dont want it to do
