What inspired you to buy a Clio

  Clio 190bhp Hybrid

Always wanted a Pug 205 and had to get rid of my first car, a MG Metro. Decided on a Valver as for the money it offered everything I wanted and more. Did want a Willy but Group 17 against Group 11/12 felt it wasnt worth the extra.

Still love my Valver as it just looks right, curves and bulges in all the right places.

Mine came with tinted rears and a massive chrome letterbox pipe in pearl black. Saw it, bought it, drove it, still smilion now. For the money, i reckon it to be the best specced, fastest little car that has the handling to back up its mighty power to weight ratio. Love the sound, the inside, the seats are great. Auto wipers a pain, but xenon lights?? On a small car??? How cool is that!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  Arctic Blue 182

I saw the Mk1 172 trounce all the competition on its debut on Top Gear. I owned a Rover 416 SLi at the time and wanted something that was fun. So in Dec 2000 I swapped my Partridge mobile and I got me a silver Mk1 172 and f*cking loved every minute I spent with it - driving it, washing it, doing the lass in it...etc. Even my sister went out and bought a black one.

That was until the 182 came out. I went to this years motorshow at the NEC, had a look and a sit in all the competition and STILL to this day (IMO) nothing gets close to the Clio. Ive had my 182 just over a month now, and altho there are things that were better in my Mk1, I love it. Mmmm, cruise control.

  BMW e46 320 Ci Sport

i rolled my escort 1.4 on july 3rd after getting my degree on the same day, july 4th way my birthday and july 5th my parents took me to a renault dealer. i could of got a 1.4 in black or a 1.6 in nautical blue. i got the 1.6.

I felt it was time for a french car when i got my arse kicked by a saxo westcoast on a roundabout in my escort rs turbo with a grands worth of suspension setup on it lol

Had one go of a williams 2 (now mine) and it was a far superior car in everyway to the escort in my opinion - although slower in straight lines, much much more fun with the direct power instead of the lag of a 2wd saff turbo on a 1600 cvh lol

Nicole?

Remember those adverts that Estelle was Hot as hell, not that that would in anyway influence my choice :)

I got a 1.4 Maxim Sport in 1997 because they looked good and I wanted a small car, 4 years later I was bored waiting for an MOT so I bought a Phase 2 172 :)

Which I recently wrote off, not getting another Clio next however, maybe as a second car I might pick up a Valver or a Williams that needs abit of work but I need a larger more comfortable car now :)

I sat in a V6 and the seats fit me perfectly, also the driving persisions was prefect for me. I then looked at specs insurance and Tax, and it offers better power and valuve for money than any other alternative.

sorry to go off topic but the spelling of PERSISIONS which i hope to god should be positions is brilliant LOL!!!!

  Not a Clio

got my first clio bought for me by my dad after passing my test, got it due to price and low insurance - it was a 1.2

got my second clio because i was flicking through autotrader and the valver caught my eye, went to see it and it was love at first sight.

Ive never heard of a V6 being described as "Value for Money" ;)

They are fantastic cars I wish I could aford to own one, not just money, but "Practicality" wise as well.
