what is done at the 36k service?

What must be and should be done at the 36K service for a 172?

Renault just told me no belt was changed which sounds weird to me.

SO why would it be a major service?

the 36k is a major service, belts changed at 5 years or 72k iirc, spar plugs at 36k iirc

Thanks edde. So basically, the very helpful person on the phone was wrong!

On that note, it doesn't seem to be stuck on the top of the page. The only one I can see from my browser is the non RS services.

36k or 5 years definatelty requires the aux belt and the cambelt change.

Thats the proper guide even Renault dealerships and brocures are wrong and they still print them wrong. The new Clio service book says 18k/1yr for service wheras its 18k/2yrs.
One of the problems is that in other countries they have different rules depending on the climate etc in Austrilia I think its ever 10,000Km ie aver about 6,000 miles.
