What is 'Euro Style'?

  AMV8, Mk1 Golf
"UK euro" is what we see over here, not many true euro cars the way the belgians do it.

look at russ' , mine , duttys, etc etc

  172 and vw passat
all about personal taste, but i prefer the big deep dish rather than Ronal Turbos

  ATS CUP'd Dynamique
everyone has a different take on euro but in my opinion its:

-small,wide wheels ( 15" or smaller for a clio) with streched tyres and a low offset
-smoothed and cleaned (debadged etc.)
-slammed to the floor
-less is more

  Clio 1.8 8v RSi

Yeah fair enough, the Ronals are a bit odd in my eyes! So something like the Rota Cups but in 15"? Havnt found many deep dishes but am searching around

Deep dish wheels. slammed to the ground, removal of all side strips, bullets etc.

Smoothed all over, I.e removal of door handles, rear button.

then just hope your poppers dont bugger up and you cant get in your car :D, that would be a classic.

I will go to my local body shop to see what i can have done, where would the poppers go? Built into under the mirror? - Thats what a friend had on his Puma Fiesta :D

does the rsi have a door lock under the handle ?
if so i would just smooth the lock and the side repeaters (if its not illegal)

and fully smooth the boot lid fitting a popper and a switch on the dash

And can i ask.... what is an offset and why should i go for a low one? And stretched tyres...these are what exactly? many thanks

Yes, a door lock to the left of the handle... But then how will the door pop open if the popper is not on the outside? :S
I think smoothing the indicators are illegal...though some mirros have them built in but id rather keep my standards

  ATS CUP'd Dynamique
o right..silly me ..forgot it was a mk1 and therefore you need to open it via the lock ! :rasp:

im stuck for ideas then !

  ST
Bin lids for wheels, smoothed of tail gate, smoothed bump strips, modified/smoothed bumpers, uber low, sometimes with roll cage etc..

  Clio 1.8 8v RSi
for something as essential as that, i would buy the best

Yeah, ebay is not no.1 for quality! Id rather be able to get back in my car than ring up the AA! Those poppers do look tasty! Ill go down to my body shop on Tuesday morning and see what prices i can get for a tail gate and door smooth down with poppers :D
Cheers for all the help everyone!

knowsit !

- sambo, there are a few other euro related threads on here, maybe worth having a look at those too.

  Mercedes C Class Sport
Its a loosely used term on here, only 2 maybe 3 cars on here that are good efforts and are even worth looking at for ideas.

  Mk1 Maxim Sport
Ud have to smooth it off to buggery mate an have absolutely no lines or holes on the bodywork. In other words make it look absolutely shite imo. Oh an totally convert the interior to a stupid colour an material. Iv sin many in white leather, the whollleeee interior in white leather. I mean jesus. They must not wear shoes.

LOL, yeah i know thats fully Euro'd but naa, i just mean on the outside. I just stick with some deep dishes....maybe smooth the handles with poppers will see, and lowered -60mm possibly, though i do like -40mm, it means i can get into the beach car park in the summer rather than park half a mile away in a layby! cheers

Smooth looks is euro. dished alloys, debadged rear wipers and badges, smoothed out bump strips, slammed on coilovers.. you get the idea ;)

  2002 172
theres 2 types of euro, you have the clean look and the rat look...matt paints, rust, general bits hanging off, no bumpers etc ;)
