What is it worth

Havent posted in For Sale as it isnt strictly a for sale post but would like to know what I could expect to get for my 172 Cup?

It is a 2003 03 reg, done 34500 miles. No a/c.
2 previous owners plus me.
Condition is generally very good but the front is peppered with chips as previous owner(s) used it mostly for motorway driving.

Well, to answer my own question - £5500!
Is it just me or does that seem LOW?
Best offer is a genuine £6800 against a 225 but that was with a discount out of the new(er) car.
OK, if I bought a new car at FULL price I could get more but that is pointless.

Could I seriously expect more - even privately - or is that it for this car at this age/mileage?

If you trade thats all you will get, sell private for alittle more.

I agree with £6-£6.5k private

Make sure you sell it before the new shape clios come out as they will hit the prices even more

yeah 6k seems a reasonable price, but as rich says sell before the mk3 clio comes out
