What is required to convert?

Hi

I was wondering if anybody could help me. I am in the middle of modifying my mark2 phase 1 clio grande 1.2 8v and i am considering changing the bump strips on my car to mark 2 phase 2 ones. I have tried to convert them in a scrappy as i trial but much to my dismay it did not work. But i believe it can be done would be good if somebody could tell me the correct way as it would help me out alot.

I was under the impression that they were just a straight swap.

If your current ones have never been off they will be a pain at first, slide the front door strips towards the rear of the car and try and get your finger behind the rear edge to lift out. Slide the rear strips towards the front of the car, they will clip off. Then its just a straight forward swap mate.

It is just that the clips are different on the new version ones so what do you do there?

they should just fit str8 on to it mate
