I got a quick question I saw this in one of the earlier posts about Mk1-RS engine bay

Could you please tell me what the hell is that plugged hole on the plenham. And why it has been plugged by this rubber pin.

mine as well, there is a little plastic hose which is connected to something right under the fuelrail guard.

As far as I know maxogen comes with this pin but have no idea why?

mine is Mk1 172 and as I explained that hose is hooked up to stg under the fuelrail guard.

Though not 100 % sure, it might be some sort of releif valve or stg, when the engine needs it opens and sends fresh air which will evetually alter the AFR make it lean of course, but as I said I am totallly making this up.

  monaco blue 172 ..
Its Where The Hose goes For The Accoustic Valve ,which Is Usualy In The Same Place As The Horn/hooter!! Behind The Passenger Side Wheelarch Liner Mate

  monaco blue 172 ..
some people either remove the hose alltogether and plug the inlet as you have on yours or they just block the hose and tie it up .. its only the mk 2 clio sport what have these , mk 1's dont have the accoustic valve.!

mine is Mk1 172 still has this hose, as far as I know mk1's never have acoustic valve and also mine does not go to wheel arch instead it is directed to somewhere under fuel rail guard.
