Right - Checked mine, it seems your dash is missing the full length of the plastic bit underneath the vent controls.

Mine runs the whole way alone, and tucks into a small gap between clock and the plastic bit.

You could break it, and cover it up easily.

Time for a new section for you, just go to a scrappy and take the headunit cover and it will be one section for you to replace.
