What is this sensor?

The sensor that is about 2 Oclock from the oil Filter? Next to the golden bar in the photo.

Looks like Knock Sensor from the position you mention

Ok, cheers, seems mine isn't connected (the air between the two broken bits of cable is the give away) anything it will effect?

Going to sort it, but got an MOT on Friday, not sure i've got time to sort it before then. From what i read it may not do my engine any good to run without it especially with cheap fuel?

Looking at it again its actually the lower sensor (about 4 Oclock from oil filter) What is this likely to be?

Didnt realise you had replied, not sure on the effects of a non-working knock sensor on the DCI...

Other sensor looks like the oil level/temp one.

That might be the case, but my engine is not infact my engine.....

That speedo sensor is totally off, so is every other part I've tried to buy, and Renault know nothing about it..........

They've even contacted renault main build centre to see if they can shed any light, and guess what, nope.... nothing so far...

Mine is a d7f but it seems nothing that should fits?

sorry about that mate, decided against the skirts anyway, so i shall pop them back to you then! bloke in renault seemed certian it would fit all mk2!!
