What is this....

Not the best picture but to the left of the gearstick there is (on my car) a hole (where the circle is). It looks like it should hold an LED or something.

I don't have my handbook with me at the moment (left it at my parents when I was cleaning out my car). Anyone got any ideas?

Looks like its had an alarm fitted in the past and the previous owners removed it...

thats how they come from the improt depot (renault alarm)

It definately has the Renault alarm on it (already set it off by opening it up too quickly after unlocking it on the key remote). The windows are etched and it has the original locking wheel bolts.

Any other ways of telling if mine is an import?

stand on your head, look at the car? does it morph into a corsa?

if not. then its defo a UK car

That's what I would say, see if the whole flashes when you lock the car.
