fitting an iduction kit made the turbo spool a lot louder on my vectra so it may be a mixture of that and the exhaust.

Probably a Cummins V8 diesel. The yankies love to tune these. Seem some on the tube with 1200hp.....

LOL same as my mates Fabia vRS, the turbo made that noise for a few miles then the car stopped working

Exactly the same happened on my Golf TDI when I had one about 5 years ago. Caused quite a lot of damage to the Engine too.

Apparently the dealers said they had never heard of it happening!

we have a 4.2 straight 6 turbo diesel Nissan Patrol apparently rare as feck as its on a k plate. they wernt made with turbo's. anyway the exhaust is nackered on it now so lets see how many boxes we can take out
