Hi, im new to the clio scene and am curious to what makes the best mods(Bang for Buck) to carry out on my 197. Im going to be mostly using it for fast road.

Cheers
Allan

Have you got Recaro's? Always a nice touch!

But id go for Brakes and Suspension. Wouldnt bother with air filter if it were me or many other engine mods unless spending BIG money!

Brakes: 197 has THE best brakes on a hot hatch.

Suspension: Its awesome as it is. Could do with being a touch lower but thats it.

What else?? As a fast road car, not a lot comes close to the 197's driveability.

Definately wasnt referring to the Calipers! I meant Discs and Pads.

Removing weight = Best bang for buck

Or do a track day and learn how to drive properly and find the limits of the car and you will realise "fast" road doesnt really exist.

+1

Enjoy it as it is for now. Don't fix what isn't broke.

Thanks for all the suggestions. But it seems as i thought that with a n/a engine the scope for tuning was limited.

Dont think there is much out there for the 197 at the moment.

Just drive it for a bit and ruin it with attempted mods later in the year.
