What new car clio maybe

I relaise I have lost loads on my car this year but I want to change my car after it comes back from the repair center.

Im stuck on what to get though.

I do ~19k yr so a diesel would probably be better.

I got a leaflt thought eh door this morning saying new clio dynamics 1.2s witht the billabonk pack have a yrs free inusrance and even with my clim Im still able to apply. However it doesnt mention if the free insuance applies to the diesels.

Doesanyone know if it is. Also what sort of proce shouls I be lookin at for my Clio with 16k on the clock (its a 52 reg 2002 model) against a new one?

Im imgining 6.5k making a difference of about 3.5K which I dont realy want to pay. The dealership has a 1.4 16V dynamic in there Liverpool showroom for 8k with 13k on the clock which seems good value.

Am I mad wanting another Clio as it isnt the biggest car for me. Im 6 4 with ize 16 feet so loads of cars I cannot drive including the new Megan as i keep getting my foor stuck under the brake pedal.

Is there any onther cars people out there can recomend?

Thanks

Thanks for the advice least someone replied out of the 45 of you what had a look.

I know its stupid but insurance on a Ibiza Cupra R is £2k and they do look excellent. The sport Leon should be even less plus it has a 6 speed box.

Dam I need somone to knock some sence into me but I think I may follow my heart.

Why not look at a new import 1.6 16v which cost around 8500 new with climate and that all important sunroof. Id say its worth the extra 500 to have a "new" car with warranty e.t.c

Ye I know I cannot seem to get prices for my car though. One place gave me a quote of 5k and another of £6500 if i got £6500 from the importer i could have either a 1.4 or 1.6 for the same £2k extra which doesnt seem to bad. However for 2k I could get another fast older car which I could do what I wanted with.

Also i might as well spend £400 or so on a chip whcih could give us about 80/85hp which is not far of the 1.4s power and has better economy. The rest of the money on drink, women and going out. Well maybe not the drink or the going out but least on a dating agency so i can find a bird to spend the extra cash on.

The Micra is more spacious but except for that its an abismal car. I may be tall but Im thin as rake you can see the outline of my ribbs clearly. It has its advantages though as I can have Mc Donalds every day my normal lunch as a snack, breakfat, tea and supper without ever putting on weight. :D

I dont think I will change my clio now as the dealer isnt even bothered ringing me back about details of a new car. Was funny when he asked if he could see the car as I told him it was in the bodyshop behind his garage at the moment.

yeah the free insurance is on the diesels, my girlfriends bro got a 1.5 DCI billabong. TRUST me dont get the 1.2 16v his diesel has had hardy any problems whilst I think mines a Friday car as its been one thing after another!!!

One day diesel will rule the world :devilish:

The 1.5 is much better IMO the 1.2 seems to burn fuel as if its going out of fashion with me behind the wheel. The diesel is much better. ALso the diesl can be moded for a few hundred pounds to 80 or so hp. Renault need a powerful clio. Let me have a go droping a 2.2 up fornt from the Laguna with some mods now that will scare you Cup drivers. 200hhp and 300lbf toque.

Ill have to have a look at the Renault offers site i heard advertising the clio on the radio this morning.

Thanks for the advice
