What Next Tuning Wise for Valver?

Ok then ive got the basic mods now for my willy engined valver, supersprint manifold, decat, exhaust, panel filter, getting a flywheel from AWT aswell.
Wondering what i should get next without spending too much money....
Chip/Remap? How much does either cost and where can i get them thats good?
Cams? or should i save up and get headwork done at same time?
Headwork? or should i save up and get cams done at same time?
Anything else?

Not sure what to do im just after some power really thats not going to cost me a fortune. what does everyone recommend? hopefully will be running big power in the future....probably distant future lol
Cheers

I would probably suggest a "remap". I would be able to help you out there if you were interested. This would be a physical chip change but as i remember the real world gains for the 16v are pretty good.

Paul

no offence intended to paul, but a custom remap would be better for what you have done, as the chips paul sells are designed with standar engines in mind, where as soething along the lines of an smt6/7 would take into account the modifications you have done already and can be updated to take into account future modifications. You'd need a remap if you had cams, and you might aswell have the headwork done at the same time, so i'd say go for a remap.

i'd ring nick at hillpower he will go through the options with you he's been tuning the willy engines for years and has built some fast ones

just got my car back from hillpower and i must say it is very very fast, so much difference between 1.8 and the cammed and mapped 2.0l . made 145bhp atw ( 170> at fly). ive got 17's on and cant get no traction in 1st and get loads of torque steer in 2nd, 3rd,4th and 5th it just keeps on pulling.would have no problem hitting lim in 5th

ive never had a problem hitting limiter in 5th before exhaust was put on so i think cams and a map will make it a bit better. i never get traction in the first couple of gears, once had it spinning up in 4th gear!
