What Oil

I know that this topic has already been, but I need to know!

What is the best oil for mk1 172 ?

Problem with this topic is different people are happy with different oils. But to be honest any fully synthetic oil with the right rating for your car would be fine. I think for the 172 either 5w40 or 10w40. Ive tried 5w40 and didnt like it so I got RedLine 10w40.

i just changed the oil in my 172 at the weekend. i phoned renault and they said to use mobil 1. hope this helps
