What road tax band is a 182 in ?

my ff 172 needs renewal this week. its 190

I think you'll find your road tax has gone up in the budget and is £205 same as 182 !

Yes they do ... but if you read it says somewhere that it is subject to alteration, just so's you don't get a shock when you go and pay
You'll get to the post office and get told to pay £205 mate...

Yip, green tax's, what a load of bull. Just so the government can line there pockets but say there being environmentally friendly!

Cars made before Mar 2001 go on engine size (over 1549cc) not emissions, the 172mk1 is a different cost to a 182 and even a 172mk2. I had a 51reg 1.2 8v that was cheaper than my old x 00 reg 1.2 8v by about £5-10 just because they were made in a different year but have the same engine.
Im sure the 172mk1s made in 2000 are £180, 172mk2 and 172mk1 made after march01 are £190 and 182 is £205. These are the current prices.
If a car is made after 23mar 2006 that is a band G then youll be paying £300.
