what settings should i be on

ive got a pioneer headunit, pioneer 6x9s (yeah i no dont say a word) and sony xplod sub(12) in custom box wid a jenson amp. i want a punchy good quality sound what head unit/amp settings should i use? eg bass boost, how the level should be set etc, thanks 4 helpps components goin in soon

I wouldnt use any bass boost on the head unit and let the sub do the work, just increase the gain on the sub channel/s of the amp.

bass boost does nothing except enhance the bottom end, sacrificing both mid range and top end

realistically you want to be fiddling with all the settings til you find one you like, its not a set thing you can go to
