getting a new car this year at the moment its a toss up between a new Honda integra type R or a mk2 clio V6

tricky huh?

Price difference is quite large there. Personally I love the Integra and if they were sold in the UK and not only as imports thats what Id go for.

For that money you could have a well specced up new Golf GTI ( if youre listening to your bain) - but for something really special the Clio V has to be the main man ( if youre listening to your heart)

Thinking about it you could wait for the new Golf V?

defos the new dc5 itr!

my mates is a monster, love them to bits

gotta be a better car than renault could come up with surely and the v6 will cost you another 10k?

Ive never found these sort of decisions difficult. I bought my V about a month ago but if it were my one and only car I wouldnt consider it. I actually bought it because it is impractical, uneconomical and generally user unfriendly. The V is the one of the best second cars going but everybody I know who has tried to use one as every day transport has sold it within months of getting it.

Ive had my V6 for 3 months now, I use it every day. Its not as impractical as it first appears, but compared to a normal 4 seater it is pretty restrictive.

Unless the V6 is your dream car its very difficult to justify the purchase price, but its a lot cheaper to run than those turbocharged 4WD rally cars that seem to be so fashionable at the moment.

I test drove a 350Z before I ordered the V6 - its great on paper, but I must admit I didnt like it at all once I was behind the wheel. It has no soul, no character, if that makes any sense.

I loved it on my test drive, so stable i got 130mph on the test drive and it was like rock steddy, sounds nice, holds its price, looks the b****cks with nismo stuff on.

And when you have had enough you can fit a super charger on for an extra 100 BHP.

It has a boot and will not fall apart either :).

THe V6 Clio looks the b****cks though but its not a 27k car imo

  Remapped derv Golf

The V6 is a once in a lifetime only car - if you can do it get it!!!

Not everybody has the time, money or lifestyle to own one.

Good luck

which ever one i get they will both be second hand and cost me around 17k

still no closer to choosing yet ;)

Neither, both are too slow for the money.

Maybe he doesnt want straight line speed, maybe hes after summit visually special, like the V, or maybe hes after the best handling FWD car ever, the ITR.
