what site to use to upload DSLR pics??

I have been using photo bucket for some time now, but now I have a dslr the size of them are alot bigger and won't upload.

Flickr is great, iirc you get monthly upload limits with a standard free account though.

with photo bucket you have to subscribe to upload any bigger photo's, 1200x800 picture size i think is the biggest you can go for free, after that you pay for the year.

won't upload says it can't recognised the files? says they are in a different format? how do I go about changing this

Are you trying to upload the RAW files?

what do you want to use the pics for? Is just for the likes of here? if so just use resave the pics using the auto re-size function on the software. Thats what i do anyhow.

hmmm Deviant Art may be worth a look, its aimed at more art based stuff than file sharing but it can be used and abused to work this way. You can upload full size images, choose the display size and let other people download the files..

flickr all the way mate. Its like £13 for a years subscription and then you can upload as many as you want.
