What size alloys you think

I am looking at getting some alloys for my valver, what you think?

i was thinking 17" but i think it might slow me down so maybe 16"?

depends what u want , if u want good looks then go for 17s ! But if u want better peformance go for 16s imo 16s still look nice !

Not meaning to rock the boat, but the original 15s (Phase1 or 2) make the car quicker and handle better. By all means, lower the car if you want more grip: you may find that the car tramlines on big wheels and is much more "snappy" at the limit. Id recommend you stick with the 15s for back road supremity.

How do I know? My old 16V came with 16" wheels with 205/45 rubber. All very well at the time, but I swapped to some Phase2s with 195/50/15 rubber and decked the suspension. Much better for feel and control - and the car was without a doubt far quicker. :D

What you looking at spending? £500-600? For the same money you can get the wheels refurbished and a set of quality coilovers fitted. All the most tuned Valvers run original wheels!

After: (a much quicker and better handling car!)

i think the phase 2 alloys are nice any way

they make ure car look so much cleaner than the ones in the first pic

yea i agree they look better than the first pic, but the first alloys arnt exactly nice are they! they proberly why they look better, i might just go for a nice set of 15"

The Phase2s are really nice.. (ok, I have some, but I only got them cus they were nice.. heh).

Whoever sat at Renault that day and chose/designed them, deserves a bag of Cheese and Onion Crisps for his geniusism. :D

id stick with the phase II 15s. if your not going to go bigger id keep the phase IIs and spend the money on performanc mods.

If you do go bigger, 16" are a good compromise - look good when slammed.. dont lose as much performance etc..

17" do look good on the Valver, specially when lowered..

I guess it depends what ya want the car to do/look like... hehe.
