What springs???

Hey all, need your opinions on what lowering springs to get for my 1.2 16v clio 55 reg.

Only got a choice of the makes shown on the link below as got a credit note from demon tweeks.

Was gonna go for 40mm drop because i've heard people saying that any lower than that without a suspension kit and you can run into problems.

Any help would be appreciated!

go 60mm at least you'll be fine on the shocks, have you got alloys on the car?
if so what size?
i used to have 17"s on mine old 1.2 and lowered it 40mm and it just didnt look low enough

Aye I've got black 16'' TD pro race, dont know if i wanted to go that low, you got any pics of 40 and 60 to have a look at mate?

Personally I'd change springs and shocks its much better. They cost more (depends what type you use more you spend the better)

If you want springs alone try EIBACH

I've got 16" pro race on 40mm, will post a pic up when I can find one. Could do with being a tiny bit lower but once settled I don't think its too bad.

Looks really good mate, has it improved handling and cornering?

Really not sure.....40mm or 60mm!!!!

i'm in the same situation, im thinking about 60mm and then getting some new uprated shocks when ive got the money

Yes the handling and cornering is alot better. Would defo recommend it

I would beg, borrow and steal to get the FK Highsports. The ride is much better than you'd expect (in some scenarios better than standard), it looks ace at -80mm and will go round corners quicker than anything.
