^^ applicator for the wax

The AG bumper care requires VERY little on a cloth or applicator pad. Seriously gungey stuff. Never been keen but does the job well. Looking to try out a few lighter products.

I hear smooth peanut butter rubbed into the black plastic brings it up nicely, don't know how true it is. Might be because of the oils in the peanut butter.

  F56 MINI Cooper S
I am currently using some yellow simoniz stuff which i bought from asda in a big bottle. It seems to be better than the AG bodyshampoo as i find the AG doesnt have many bubbles in atall, feels like im washing the car in just water.
How often do u reckon i need to put AG bumper care on, normally i do it everytime i wash the car, which is once a week.
Im also using a duster to apply the polish/wax, and a polishing cloth to take off, am i doing it right here?

It has properties that are meant to get rid of polish stains.

I have never tried it. Ali has, good reports. But it is not a protectant.

If you got a Halfords near you scrap the Autoglym stuff of that list and buy it from there as they are doing 3 for 2 on car cleaning products

Applicator pad is better because it gives it a more even coating of wax.

You wanna use summat that gives a better lubricant between your mitt and the car.

Just order it offline, the stuff from i4detailing and detailedobesessioin are better than what you get from halfrauds.

You wont get duragloss or carlack or bilberry from halfruads. :)

Groundnut oil is just as good and less messy ;)

I wouldn't bother with the megs stuff, thats part of the 3 stage thing isn't it? The cleaner stuff (stage 1) is ok but you're better with something else for the other stages.

Can't argue with what the other guys have recommended product wise tbh!

Is this really good for external black plastics?

No offence to megs as they prob make some good products but i wouldn't personally use them at all except for their applicator pads.

Just other products out there that are ALOT better in comparison.

People say it foams well but for how long, and i don't really think it has the lubrication of optimum car wash.

Megs do good products but if you wanna look after your paint, foaming and lubrication are much needed ingridient as it reduces the risk of causing swirls.

were can i get i from ? it seems good stuff like does ever one agree thats it better than the duragloss.

^^ Optimum Instant Detailer and Gloss Enhancer :D:D

Oooh I have recently ordered the Optimum OID from Gareth at Detailed obsession!:D

You can buy it in in 32oz concentrate I think and dilute as you wish, works out quite cost effective

And for the times when you don't really wanna go to too much effort of cleaning your car with dust on it, ONR is absolutely EPIC! Dilute with water in one of those pump spray bottles and do one panel at a time. ;)

Optimum products are immense and shouldn't be sniffed at by anyone, compared to meguiars this stuff is top of the tree IMO.

You'll have to write a little review for peeps on here on how you got on with the your optimum products. :D:D

^^ Yes RussZS off here recommended that to me recently. So how does it work? And how does it not induce swirls etc?
