What the heck is this thing?

Hello all. I recently bought a 172 Cup, which had the sound system upgraded to a Kenwood DAB number. It had this on the dashboard, fixed loosely with sellotape. Any idea what it is? The wires head into the dash. Is it to do with the sound system? The DAB aerial, perhaps?

Definitely not the satnav antenna. Way way too big.
