What to do then.....help.....

i have a 1.4rt at present and was looking at getting a 1.8 16v. i am currently at uni and have many other interests other than cars to.

the rt is on 91,000 but the garage said is running very very well, the paintwork pretty good to and if i sale i dont think i will get that much. considering mods.etc

the valver in question is immaculate, standard and bout £3000,

i dont think i could get enough for the rt to help with the valver, i was thinking maybe keeping the rt, slowly get it immaculate and then maybe dropping an engine in,

what does everybody think,
people who have had engine conversions, valvers and anybody really........help.

engine conversions are too much, and the brakes on the RT are sooooo poo. Just save until you can afford the valver. Ican tell you they are much better cars. I have a valver and the misses has an RT. So i can compare very easily!

I dunno but I went from an RT to an Si and there was a huge improvement in the Si, I loved that car...
 


3k for an immaculate valver is ok - if its got low mileage etc.. what the full spec on the valver?

immaculate yeah but well rare to find anything immaculate - need to be one owner, frsh, untouched and v low mileage to warrant 3k

You could get a nice valver for less than 3k if you got time to look around. Engine swop would make for an interesting car,but its all hassle aint it? Valver when you can afford it IMO.

yeah i will speak to the seller bout the price and the period to sell, my insurance expires in april but i am worried bout the price that my car could fetch. yeah i specifically want a valver please.
