My tax on the 172 has ran out today and I haven't received the V5 or the Tax reminder yet as the sale happened on Saturday.
Sit back and wait for either one of us to get fined? :dead:

Nope, go to the post office, assuming you have the new keeper supplement of the V5, insurance and MOT etc, you can fill in a form and get your tax that way.

Nope only the 11 digit reference number thats on the front of your registration certificate

If you do it online and have only just sent off the V5 surely it will just be sent to the old owner.
