Live is paid for using a code system (you can buy them for about £30 for a year) you get a month free with the xbox anyway

To set up the "live" on the 360 you either need to:

1. Buy The Wireless Add-On If U Have A Wireless Router and Then You Can Have Your 360 Anywhere In Your House and Play Xbox Live Or...

2. Use The Really Long Ethernet Wire That Comes In The Bottom Of The 360 Box and Plug That Into Your Broadband Router and The Back Of Your 360

And Then You Need To Get A Xbox Live Subscription If You want To Do more Than Download Trailers and Game Add-Ons.....Some Games Come With A 2 Month Trial In The Game Box, Just Scratch Off The Code and Type It Into The Xbox Screen When Prompted.

No you just use the code in the box to set up your 1 month live trial, is piss easy fella

P.S. I ran my xbox on a normal CRT TV for ages and it was more than good enough, you'll only get the best out of a HD tv if you have

1) Sky HD
2) HD-DVD player/BluRay
3) 360/PS3

Whereas with the 360 you can use it now and upgrade your telly later fella

There is no code in the box for your first trial.

The gamertag you create has 1 month free

oh by the way, whats the differeance between a xbox arcade?? and a normal xbox because the arcade is alot cheaper but i dnt have a clue whats its all about if u no what i mean

You need a memory unit to connect to Live.

The Premium has a hard drive, I believe the arcade only has a memory crad (basically useless)

Both have wireless controllers but I dont think the Arcade hasHi Def cables in the box.

The Xbox Arcade Has Been Stripped Down Abit...It Doesn't Include A Hard Drive But Comes With A 256MB Memory Card Instead.

you have to set up a Xbox Live Silver Account and they automatically upgrade your Silver membership to gold for one free month,then upgrade to Gold after your months free trial
