what to look out for?

im goin to see a 172 on the weekend to buy is there anything to look out for ?
any common faults etc .

see if all the cam and aux belts have been done. thats a biggie, also check to see if the cam cover is leaking as they tend to do that as well. make sure the steering is central, warning lights on the dash, diesel noise on idle if it has then its probly the dephaser or the lifters, rattleing from the bottom of the engine. stuff like that. but as said that tenner is worth every penny mate.
