What to use cleaning throttle bodie?

Cleaned my throttle bodie at the weekend with wd40 sorted my idle out for a few days but started playing up again,, I've read wd40 is no good for cleaning it what should be used instead? Mainly cleaning the spring out

Wd40 was fine on mine, still clean. People use petrol too iirc.

Carb cleaner/ petrol. I used petrol on mine and it came up great.

Use petrol on a rag, it works wonders...

brake cleaner will be fine to use also

TBH any of those sort of solvents on a rag is fine, its not normally hard to remove dirt on these thing anyway.
