What to use to attach new front number plate

Whats the best way to attach a new front number plate on a 182? Was thinking it was some sort of double sided tape but not sure what to use.

Alternatively screws or number plate fixing pads. Normally available from your local Halfords or motor factors.

Velcro can be easily removed...so some cunit could pull them off easily. I prefer proper sticky pads from Halfords as looks better/cleaner than screws.

If they give it a tug and realise its easy off...or could just fall off I know its just sticky stuff at end of day, but can I help being an untrusting b*****d?

I did have that thought with the Velcro. Perhaps sticky stuff would make more sense.
I have just looked at the current plate that is on there and boy is it on there, any tips for removing the old plate?

Not being funny but Velcro attaches them very very well... stuck on with anything less than 3M super double sided glue tape (which you'll still get off eventually...) they're coming off if someone wants them.

Most are stuck on with screws FFS.

If they were smart however, they'd just note your plate and buy some to match from fancyplates...

i just used some of the double sided sticky pads, heated my old ones slightly with a heat gun so could pull them off

Here's a tip if you decide to use Velcro to attach your plate, don't tell your mates.

LOL! Exactly why only a select few of my colleagues know that my plates are attached with Velcro (visions of yellow on front, white on rear, upside down, no plates, etc...)
