What wheels and possible weight saving?

  Stripped yozza'd cup
Im looking at the possibility of selling my cup turinis as ive been looking at changing to 15's, so I figured I may as well do it now as I am in need of new tyres pretty soon.

So I have a few n00b questions for you all.

I figure my turini's are worth ~£400 + £250 for tyres. So what are the lightest 15'' wheels I can buy for £650?

Does anyone know how much 1 cup Turini weighs?

And finally, can I ask for pictures of any cups on 15's?

Thanks all!

I had a look through the for sale section and there's been a lot of sets of turinis for sale for £400???

Sorry, I haven't made it very clear, £400 for the turini's plus £250 that I would spend on tyres as the fronts need replacing but I like to buy tyres in 4's.

As for style, I like the look of the turinis tbh, the only reason I'm looking for a change is for weight as I'm going to be stripping it next month. I'm just weighing up (excuse the pun) whether the weight saving is going to be worth me changing from the standard wheels.

im selling up my MINT set of turinis with 4 nigh on brandnew tyres for £470 and also im looking to go back to 15''. im after super light weight wheels to reduce my unsprung weight as much as possible. So far ive found team dynamics 15'' et37 4x100 for £370 deliverd, they weigh 6.5kg from memory and 16'' turinis weigh 8.5kg iirc? as much as i love the look of an oem crisp cup i think its time get away from heavy 16''. lightest option is oz ultraleggeras at 4.9kg. their pricey but worth the pay out for performance in shedding ALOT of weight. Somone correct me if im wrong but is it for every 1kg lost of unsprung weight equates to 4kg of interior/chassis weight? being a possible saving from turinis to ultraleggera > 57.6kg? (not including weight of tyre). typed using my ps3 so sorry for whopping paragraph.

I think if I go for it, it'll have to be 2118's or superturismo's. If im going to do it, I'm going to do it properly.
I read on a post on here that Turini's were 8.7kg. So it is a massive weight saving.

I've heard it's 4x and 5x in various places, but either way it's a massive weight saving.

I just have to decide whether I want to sacrifice a bit of it's looks for performance.

I could go the whole way and keep my turinis for road and buy some superleggeras for track use, but that's getting into silly money then.... Such a difficult decision! I need to make it soon though as my sidewalls on my front tyres are cracked where it was stored for 6 months.

they are 15's and its a 182, bought for 200 second hand. hope that helps.

you do know 2118s are VERY heavy and i dont think there will be any weight saving, they are very strong and look great though.
