what would you choose

if you had £27,000 to go buy a v6 clio say ?

would you either choose a : v6 clio

or b : second hand ferrari e.g 348 ts (left hooker) or 308 ?

for a similar price ?

V6 I think as its more drivable Id imagine every day plus its newer so less potential expensive bills and makes people look at it just as much as a Ferrari.

Plus I wouldnt fit in a ferari.

I think Id still look at a ferrari though the alore of the badge

good points edde

hate to have to replace an exhaust on a 15 yr old ferrari ! ouch !

v6 is one nice car but the kudos of the ferrari - now thats the dilema!

Ferrari would probably cost more to insure & if something had to fixed on it ........

But also probably a lot lot lot better built, its like a total different league.

So I say go Ferrari

Clio V6 with 3 years warranty vs totally impractical vehicle that needs a £1000 service every 3000 miles? Easy answer unless you have another car. You need a lot more money than the purchase price to run a Ferrari.

For those who cant read the first post, the options were Clio or Ferrari. No Skylines or Evos were mentioned.

Think of the re-sell value too. The Ferrari wont depreciate, the Clio will, alot! You may even make money on the Ferrari too when you come to sell it, provided you look after it. I think it kind of speaks for its self..... Clio.... or..... Ferrari.!

Errr, Ill have a Clio please! :p

For those who need to suggest users cant read just because they are adding other options in the same price band to the mix, can it :p

;) If it has to be the two weigh up the pros and cons and then decide.

Heres the stats on the ferrari btw:

<A target=_blank href= "http://www.supercarstats.com/car/exotic-stats/ferrari_348_spider.shtmlhttp://www.supercarstats.com/car/exotic-stats/ferrari_348_spider.shtml

Clio V6, is 0.2s slower to 60 and 4mph off the ferraris top end (renault book figures) so quite similar i would imagine. The ferrari is going to cost sh*tloads to maintain tho

It really depends how much image appeals to you :)

I once heard some advice that you should only ever buy a Ferrari, if you can easily afford to buy two.

That way you should have enough stashed away to keep it running...

Carefull with the Faza mate, friend of min has 355 GTS. For every tank of fuel, youll need a new can of oil! And it aint cheap, specially formulated for Fazas. His last service, 60,000 (a bigee) inc. new tyres and cam belt £4,500K - NO sh*t!
