whats happend!

got my valver back from the body shop 2days ago

finish was like glass and looked sh*t hot

this morning car was iced over loads, got it up in a car park 2nite me and all my mates were admiring it, and the paint has started to look a little orange peely

how has this happend?

rang the bodyshop, hes told me to bring it back in on monday morning, cant belive it just my luck!

Do you think it might have been because its not really dry yet and its too cold? I dont really know much about cars but i suppose it cant be too different from nails! (lol not much comparison im sorry) I been told by my tutor that if they dont dry properly and are exposed to cold or hot temperatures for a long period of time they will chip easier.

I think this is whats happenin with your car because its not really completely dry (for a few weeks i think) and its jus coldddddd outside

doesnt this happen when the paint gets contaminated.dont they put cars in a sort of oven after to dry and harden the paint.theres an article about this in either the latest revs or fast car magazine i think.

hopefully on monday bodyshop will know what 2 do etc. and get it sorted, give it a good buffing

been back 2 the body shop 2day

hes told me not to worry and give me this trade wax to protect it over the weekend then im taking it back on monday to be flatted back off and buffed etc

so it will be sorted but there dead busy so i hope they can do it in 1day

have you got coilovers and are they 17s also how low is that and have u had a full respray?

no coil overs, got apex full kit 60mm but had the springs compressed the rear is lower its about 70mm front 90mm rear

yup just had a new paint job 2!

why?!?
