exactly what range I'm after. Was offered 5.5k today against a Mk2 V6 but know its worth more.

As a trade in it would be worth £5200 mate, thats going by the book. I know because its basically the same as mine and i have been to 8 garages test driving other cars etc looking for a new one and everyone has said the same thing, the official price in the book for 47k on clock is £5200 and not one garage offered me more than £5500.

Mine is almost the same are yours minus the turinis. and i have more engines mods (inlets, ecu etc). We are even using the same brakes and honda ariel lol

Would advise selling privately but there are lots of other nice low milage examples going for £5500 - £6000.

I am off loading mine to a dealer for £6000 but thats only because a friend of a friend works there and is doing me a deal.

Bad time to sell at the moment.

market seems a little slow... depends how quickly you wan to sell....

6250 for a quick sale, if your prepared to wait then stick it up fo 6750..

NOOOOOOO...... I can't beleive your selling it! I wrote on here not so long back that this 172 is one of the best looking id ever seen, and I still think that.

Whoever gets this car looks like they are gonna get an absolute stonker!!

I would hold out for what you want tho mate. its a stunning car. I would advertise it just like you have there and pop it in for 7K just to see if you do actually get any interest. if not... drop the price, it dont hurt to try.
