Whats the best induction kit for a 1.2?

Im assuming it's for noise? Unfortunately you get very little and unnoticeable gains with an induction set up on a 1.2. As is they way with many cars.

Iv tried pipercross (cone's and viper) and also K&N cones and for noise I would go with K&N everytime. I found the Pipercross Viper quite restrictive and felt like it was struggling to breath!

Well ive been told that as ive got a backbox already it will just make it louder, and i really don't want that tbh, so whats the best way to gain a little more power? an induction kit and a new airfilter?

it will not give you any power. its a 1.2

decat mate i got a bit more power out of mine. not much but i could feel a bit of difference. if not try stripping it, it does make a bit of difference but i put mine back in

Seriously the only reason people put induction kits on 1.2s is for the noise, and you don't want that so just can't understand this thread!

I've got a power tec one just for the sound. But seeing as you've got a upgraded exhaust you don't really need one for the noise. The induction kit won't have any effect on the noise of your exhaust? You'll not notice any power gains on a 1.2.

Just get a halfords universal one. You may as well because all it will do is add noise, which i'm not knocking, but no point in spending a fortune on one.

You'll get some louder induction noise, which is usually better than the exhaust noise.
