think its part of the alarm/immobiliser... mines just got a hole there now, where i guess someone poked it thru

my car hasnt got an alarm on it that came with the car, the key wont go in the hole either....?

well i reckon it did come with an alarm, but its been turned off, and keys have been lost...

same with mine, i got no key thatll fit it.. mines a clio 1.4 rt

this is strange, there is no siren in the bonnet for it, but there is an led tho.. i might take it out tommorrow and see if there is any wres going to/from it

its to switch the standard factory fitted alarm imobilser on and off you normally get a separate key but normally there lost or alarms broken or had a upgraded one put on.

Yeah, its an immobiliser. I found out by accident when my mate was messing around in my car and turned it. I was there for about 10 minutes trying to start the car before i figured what had happened!

yer i done the same thing was experimenting with this little key i got with my rt
