Whats this? (engine pic)

Was checking the oil today and saw this down at the bottom of the fan. Looks like a clip thats snapped off, screwed to the subframe.

any ideas whats supposed to be attached to it?

does not look like part of the car why dont you try pulling it out from the radiator

its the bottom rad hose clip.

ah right, that would explain it then. Recently had all the coolant hoses replaced. Obviously the clip was just ripped off when it was being done, leaving the bolt and the ramainder of the clip still there.

i'll just unbolt the rest of it then.

lol there a t**t to get off... properly y they snapped the clip. you have to have the right length spanner or remove the fan housing
