Whats this pipe? valver/willy engine HELP

ive got a bit of an oil leak all round the area under the dizzy is covered in oil so is the gearbox/stater motor, this engine has just been built and put in so i realy hope its nothing serious, someone said it might be the head gasket??

in the picture ive done an arrow to the pipe, what is this? this has a bit off oil onit, i realy hope this is the problem as i cant see anything else, however im sure they dont use rubber to carry oil.

Only rubber pipes iirc that cross ove the top of the gearbox is quite a fat coolant pipe, iirc it goes to the middle of the n/s of the rad about halfway up.

As per other thread, if its comming from behind the dizzy sounds like camshaft oil seal

Ring the people who rebuilt the engine and get them to look at it

the pipe in the picture goes from the bottom end to the head.

check the rubber O ring that seals the dizzy.

the oils coming from below that, i think its the head gasket which would be VERY annoying, engine only went in on friday.
