what's this rattle?

I have a small rattle comming from exhaust, rattles now and then on idle but ppl say when I drive it rattles, it just sounds like a fixing has come lose on a bracket or something :S ?? Any1 know!?

a few things it could be - heatshield, etc

you're going to have to scrub around underneath it to find out what's loose unfortunately

if you can't find anything it could be the baffles in one of the silencers

well I do know it occured the day after I tought a focus a lesson or two LOL

deffo be your heatshield imo...

look at it just above the backbox...all you need to do is stick a bigger washer on it..

if its not that...check the couplings (wee spring things) that connect your cat to your exhaust...altho, you would prob hear your exhaust blowing if one of these was loose....

I would also agree with heatshield fella, mine came loose ont he 172 so i took it off
