wheel bearings on rt!

i just had my front passenger side one replaced about 2 months ago and the bloddey thing as gone again i think. could it have been put in on the piss? where would be the cheapest place to get a replacment?(not halfords , i work there and there sh*t)

genuine Renault bearings are about 40 odd quid and are far better quality. Also go to a ren specialist to fit the bearing, if they are pressed in wrongthey wont last. Ive had some las as little as 4k, but gen ren bearings pressed in properly last a long time.

The driveshaft nut could have been overtightened !! Although that would take a hell of a lot of force !! Are you running on big wheels ?

yea, just take your hub off and give it to him, they can press the bearing in for you and you just need to put the hub back on again.

genuine renault bearings seem pretty good quality.a half decent mechanic with a press should be able to fit it properley.people mainly damage bearings by trying to hammer them in or pressing them in on the piss.
